Bottle at Hundholmen, Bod. The colour is deep dark reddish brown to black with a beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, coffee beans, dark chocolate, grass and rye bread. Lots of pine the flavour along with grapefruit, grass and with ash and dark chocolate in the background. Has a slick mouth feel, medium bitterness and heavy bitterness. Both well hopped and roasted, but the latter is losing the battle. Very tasteful and a little bit unbalanced.

Pours dark amber from the bottle. Frothy, sticky white head that lingers. Aroma is full of citrus and caramel with pine undertones. Taste is bittersweet up front, bitter at the end, full of pine. Body is medium to full with a moderate carbonation. Good but also forgettable.

Bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy medium amber with a lingering, one finger, off white head leaving patchy lace. Nose is light honey, caramel, some citrus, peach and some pine. Light+ toffee sweetness supporting a medium+ resinous bitterness, Mouth is medium+ and sticky with average carbonation. Alcohol is quite obvious in the finish. I'm sure this would be better closer to the sources. 7/4/7-/4/14
