Some straw, paper. Golden pour with ok head. Some cloying mash malt in the finish. Tap at brewery.

Okay gold body and some modest foam. Sweet candied lemongrass aroma, slight gose notes, a little oversweet but not bad. Taste is a bit of sour grain, salty gose, mellow sweet lemon. Dry finish anyway. Not bad, a little clunky but the elements are there.

Another boring nondescript collab, as most collabs seem to be. Nothing good, nothing bad

Poured from 473mL can. Slightly hazy blonde gold with white head. Generic malt and hop profile, hint of grass. A bit muddy. Perhaps this is an older can (no date stamp).

Nice deep pink body and modest foam. Good raspberry and lemon on the nose, rather fake but still appetizing. Taste is more raspberry, soft grain, maybe lemonade but it's faint. Crisp carbonation. If you hate beer but like fake sugar bombs, this will work wonders.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma by now reveals a lot of bretty funk upfront, with grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dominated by the brett — there's a lot of funk, horse blanket, some farmhouse notes — with the grassy hops buried. Crisp mouthfeel that is dominated by the brett. Interesting experiment. Pretty solid.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy pale blond colour, medium head. Delicate aroma, some piney resins, some grass. Lean mouthfeel, not too dry, with mild crackery malt base, but it's clean, and moderate hopping; touch of candied pineapple.
I had more vibrant Cold IPAs, but this one is also decent.

Pale gold, just a slight haze. Thin head. There’s not much character here – some mossy hops, surprisingly low bitterness, and the malts are a touch gloppy. This did not ferment out enough, and nothing really lands well here.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy, herbal and piney hops, with a bit of resinous hop oils, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is clean and crisp, with a nice piney hops character upfront, along with grass, a bit of resinous oils, and biscuity malt. Clean and with good expression from the hops. Not the most interesting IPA, but it's a nice break from all the hazy crap.

Poured from the tap. Dark brown with small beige head. Roast malt, chocolate, lactose, simplistic, but okay.
