Thin spotty head on a boring looking lager coloured body. Mango pine & exotic fruits aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a tingle on the back. Melon, malt, pine & pithy citrus tastes. All a bit limp.

Bottle from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a frothy transient beige head. Lots of roast malts in the aroma, together with hints of bread rolls and treacle. In the mouth it’s roasted malts again, alongside dark fruits (blackcurrant ?), some creaminess, lemon sharpness and herbal traces. Finish is quite fruity. This is rather nice, without being a world beater.
