Canned December 4th.

Looks? A clear 24k gold, good head of foam.

Smells of coffee, cocoa, more bitter notes than sweet ones.

Big coffee notes in the taste. Some cocoa definitely there. Malt brings some sweet and earthiness. Also getting some close to smokey ashy flavours.

Good mouthfeel.

Tres different this one is. I have another can but I am not looking forward to drinking it for a while.

Canned October 26th 2020.

Pours a murky brown rust colour, very little tan foam.

Smell is roasted malt, vanilla, a fairly large nutty character. Some chocolate.

Smooth tasting, roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate and a nice nutty flavour that I enjoy.

High end of medium bodied, carbonation is a little low.

Nice.

Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Slightly cloudy pale golden color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Herbal hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
