Drought at Radisson Blu Addis Ababa. Rich yellow with spongy white head, vanilla aroma, slightly metallic taste with very little impression of hops, fizzy, abrupt finish. Strangely enough, enjoyable especially after a long day!

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell lightly malts, raisins somehow and weird fruityness. Taste lightly malts, again some weird fruityness and fruitpeel. Don’t really know what to think about this. Doesn’t taste like any other pale lager I’ve ever tasted. Weird, though not necessarily bad.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden yellow with a small to medium white head. Smells malts, slightly cardboard. Tastes malty, sweetish, sourish, grains. Thin to medium body, decent carbo.

Bottle at an Ethiopian joint during an international food tour of Hells kitchen. Pours yellow with white head. nose of cardboard. tastes of sour malt, lemon, paper, some yeast, and plastic. Not the best Ethiopian ive had.

Faint sour malt aroma. Cloudy golden color with sparse head. Tastes like water, at its best like extrermely weak ginger ale. Palate- again nothing. I will say that n a country liek Ethiopia, it is probably very thirst quenching...

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with average, frothy, collapsing, white head. Light grainy, husky, metallic aroma. Taste has noderately sweet malty basis, dry to bitter hoppy overtones, really bitter finish.

33cl Bottle at restaurant Ibssa, Amsterdam. ABV 5.5%. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is very sweet, honey, light malty, syrup. Flavour is again very sweet, honey, light malty, corn, syrup, hint of metallic bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Not very nice, way too sweet.

Pours amber with a small head.Nose is very faint. Not much showing except soft honey and vegetal notes. A bit of hay too.Very sweet tasting with masses of honey. Quickly fades to a vegetal note. No bitterness. Cloying.Body is stupidly watery.

Bottle courtesy of Maki, thank you ma’am! Clear golden color, thick white head that settles quickly, decent lacing. Aroma of paper and white pepper. Taste is bitter fruit and light spice. Pretty tasty for an African lager.
