Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, grain, rubbery and metal. Flavour is quite much the same along with strong bready hints. Not totally hopeless though.

Bottled. Clear golden colour with mediumsized white creamy head and leaving some lace. Aroma is mild sweet fruits along with malts and paper, but also some hayishness. Flavour is malts and even some hoppy bitterness. Only slight paperyness. Surprisingly good non-alco.

Rerate pending for 15.5 years hahahahah. Tap at Brustok 2024. Golden body, white head. Malty aroma, caramelly, bit minty and herbal, quite nice really. Malty, lightly floral taste, bit alcoholic, oily, herbal, pretty okay really!

Small sample on the RBESG08 bus trip between Plzen and Stribro. Didn't get a bigger one because Ogi convinced me that I’ve already had it. And seems I haven't. Ah well. Perfumey aroma, notes of alcohol. Perfumey sweetish taste with some slightly offensive alcohol bitterness near the end. Rerate pending. 6/4/4/4/5

Draught (Traveller’s Pub,Tallinn) - A rich golden colour with a white head and moderate carbonation. Grassy and citric aroma. Clean tasting and easy to drink. Well balanced with the malt and hops. Some citric notes. Refreshing.

[Nitrokeg at the RISC Global Cafe, Reading] A hint of dusty, gone-off plain chocolate, but overwhelming flavour is a metallic bitterness. Some ash and sourness comes through in aftertaste, leaving a very dry mouthfeel, but overall this is pretty unpleasant. In all the court cases between the Czech Budweiser/Budvar brand and the giant A-B, we were all secretly rooting for the little guy, the Czech company. But in return for our support, they’ve gone mass market and this now tastes like grim, weak, macro swill. Thanks guys.
