Hazy gold with a bubbly white head and a soft cereal malt aroma, just a hint of fruit. Fizzy, fruity, light malt with a hint of bitterness and a dryish finish. No jam.

Full pint like a boss @ Admiral Benbow, overdue get together with the beer share gang. Pours clear pale gold, white head. Soft lager malt nose. Quite light and airy to taste, medium to light bodied.. not too much going on, but nice enough.

Hand pulled half pint at the St Valentines Day Massacre Beer Festival in the Ludlow Brewery Railway Shed on 13th February 2026. Mostly black with a beige head. Smells and tastes like they've hoofed in a load of cheery juice into a barrel of Stout. It's OK but lacks 'finesse' in my eyes.

Hand pulled half pint at the St Valentines Day Massacre Beer Festival in the Ludlow Brewery Railway Shed on 13th February 2026. Clear amber body, weak white head. A little darker than the regular Best Bitter, the ageing giving it a meatier look as well as adding a slight whiskey aroma and taste; nothing too strong or overpowering, just an undertone or trace really.

Keg half pint at the St Valentines Day Massacre Beer Festival in the Ludlow Brewery Railway Shed on 13th February 2026. Bright golden body, clean and clear, white topping that hung around for a while. Crisp IPA with a decent blend of piney/fruity hops and a good dollop of malts.

500ml bottle from Harp Lane Deli in Ludlow. From the bottle. Standard blonde ale aroma. Standard blonde ale flavor profile with pale malts and some light bread. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness. A nice basic blonde ale.

Old rating from - 30-09-15 - 500ml bottle, a present from a friend who visited Shrewsbury. It pours a golden colour that has a white head that disperses quickly. Aromas of citrus, lemon & barley. Tastes was fruity, with some apricot as well as citrus & lemon. Fairly mild bitter hops aftertaste. Enjoyable

500ml bottle from Hop Vault, Stourbridge. Clear straw colour with small white head, nice lacing and retention. Aroma has sweet malts, citrus notably lime, grass, hints of pine. A bit lager like. Taste is like aroma, quite a strong citrus to this, more pine notable in the finish. Decent pale ale.
