50 cL bottle, thanks to faroeviking. Pours hazy red with a dense light orange head. Aroma is slight spiced and hoppy. Flavour has a spiced hoppy flavour and an underlying malty sweetness. Finish holds a medium complex spice profile, fruity - seems to be the rum-lagered and spiced raisin flavour mentioned on the label.
50 cL bottle, thanks to Thomas_E. Pours hazy orange to brown with a dense light brown head. Light malty and spiced aroma. Flavour is slight orange peel fruity with a slight spice note and a mild malt base. Finish holds a solid bitterness and a slight spice note.6-3-6-3-11=2.9

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, reddish, amber golden with a creamy, beige head. Sweet aroma of nuts and caramel. Quite full-bodied with very sweet caramel accents, some nuts and an ashy edge in the bitter finish. 311007

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy reddish brown with a light brown head. Herbal and slight spiced aroma with roasted malt base beneath. Flavour is sweet and caramel malty with a note of nuts blending in and giving the beer a slight darker note towards the finish. Ends with a sweet flavour and some fruity bitterhops lurking through.

Bottle. Mostly clear, copper body with an off-white head. There’s a good dash of sediments in the bottle. The aroma has a sweetish, caramel start, with an evident juniper-berry scent. There’s also a hoppiness, but it ends up playing third violin. It is a quite sweet beer, with caramel and sugary notes, and both the juniper-berries and hops are surely present. The hops give a fruity and piney flavor, not so much bitterness, and balances it quite nice. Quite sticky, full body, and a sweet and fruity finish. I would prefer a bit more bitterness in the beer, but it is a nice, easy to drink beer that I wouldn’t hesitate on buying again. (071031)

Bottle. Clear, orange body, with an off-white head. Malt, beef-stock notes, sweetness and hops in the aroma. Pine, hops, beef-stock and citrus in the flavor. Medium to full body and a hoppy finish with malt and some alcohol-notes. Not much evidence of the licorice, but I’m sure it is there. A quite nice beer, but not in the top end. (070705)

Hazy amber with a giant and un-controllable head. Yummy and very rich fresh-hop aroma with citrus, pine and a hint of peach. Rather sweet with plenty hops, both hop flavour and bitterness. If I had this blind I would have guessed it was an Avery product, and that’s a GOOD thing!
