Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 24A). Can 35.5 cl - Batch 13:41 8986 (BB: undeclared - Packaged on 07/02/25). AROMA: medium lemony and orange notes, blended with belgian yeast aromatics (slight peppery, clove) with a medium-low wheat malt background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow and just slightly hazy. medium-low white head, creamy, with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: medium malty flavor (wheat and slight vanilla) and slight peppery phenols. faint citrus notes. medium bitterness with an almost dry finish. MOUTHFELL: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok witbier-like beer with few citrus notes on the flavor.

Found this for 1$ on the clearance rack at JR's, thought I rated this one already. Happy about two things with this can; it aint an IPA and its a lager. Finally, something that may be enjoyable for a change. Not just a brutal cheap beer for a tick. Pour is slightly hazy on light pale, nice foamy white head that stays. Mild perfume fresh noble hops aroma. First taste is not bad, its fairly mild and quite belgian in nature! Yes, there is some mild pilsner bitterness in there but its well balanced and easy to take. Its not a pointed in yer face pilsner bite that is so common with many ruder domestic pilsners. Going down easy, the pilsner bitter bite starts to rise near the middle. Yes, near the end that bitterness rises to a point that I can't ignore. Not bad on the finish, glad I found this one.
