Goblet pours a dark brown with lots of creamy Grey head. Nose is earthy and malty, booze is more Woody than anything. Dried cherry goes with the malt and caramel and some butterscotch. Prickly on the finish. Must be the booze. 8 7 7.5 7 7.5

Sampled at Churchkey's Allagash event. Sample is a dark amber with some brown head. Nose has herbs, sweet tarts, big Fantome vibes. Some dried herbs. Super high, almost distracting level of carb. Some cherry, some herbs, lots of raspberry seltzer. Dry. Tart. 8 7 7 6 7

Sampled at the Churchkey Allagash event. Clear brown, thin Grey head.  Nose is sour, dried orange and tobacco, malt, nettles.  Flavors follow.  Lots of tea and neutral wood, dried wild herbs, yarrow.  Thin, lightly sour finish.  Bit of a miss.  7 6 6 6 6

Can from trade with ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Dark, cola brown, no sparkle, no head, no lacing. Aroma is strong spice--similar to cardamom or allspice, and cherry. Taste is strong cherry, spices as aroma, vanilla and very late hint of marzipam. Smooth texture, lively carbonation, finish as taste. Not getting chocolate and not getting a base stout. Feels more Winter Warmer. Disappointing.
