Can from Middle Farm near Lewes. It's an ugly brute - a murky dirty pale yellow colour with no head, like a urine sample that indicates the need for a particularly intrusive op. But looks ain't everything, and tasting it makes up for the looks. There's tart and sour citrus from the off - lemon and grapefruit, I'm not getting the lime - with a light dryness in the finish. Intensely refreshing and very enjoyable - the perfect beer for a hit day. Just drink it with your eyes shut.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Haven’t had a beer in here for awhile. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a tight, lasting creamy white head. Lightly sweet, really clean, mellow citrus pith, some juicy tangerine, lemon and grapefruit, relaxed rindy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, lean pale malts, further pithy and rindy citrus character. Well rounded and massively drinkable. Impressive.

On tap at CBC, Covent Garden on 28th August 2021. Hazy yellow with diminishing white foam and spot lacing. Penetrating citrus aroma. Intense lemon citrus juiciness in-mouth, followed by a fresh lemon finish of some duration. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford. Cloudy gold colour thin white head. Some dankness on aroma but quite a lot of coconut, lime and herb and tropical fruit. Oh I like that hop. definitely Sabro. a bit of herb somewhere I guess that you can get with Sabro. yep that's worth another half. Good coconut lime and then something more citrus or passionfruit.
