Very tart nose with tons of berries. The raspberry is particularly pronounced. Dry, tons of berries but lacking more tartness. Decent fruit saison but after a couple other saison a from council this is half a step down.

A surprising pale cloudy gold that evokes w white wine with a great tropical passion fruit aroma, maybe a hint of guava. Light bodied and quite sour with a clean tart passionfruit, light pilsner malts. To me the most innovative and unexpective of the three Council sours I tried. Really enjoyable and approachable.

A pink-orange color that brings to mind grapefruit juice with a pinkish white fizzy head of foam. It’s got a big tart raspberry purreé aroma with a mild musty character. Light bodied with a sharply dry finish. The taste is acidic, lactic yoghurt then tart berry while the seeds contribute nutty earthiness. I like that this is w lacto beer but supplemented with Brett which means it should age well and has added complexity. I liked it but the color evoke guava or grapefruit more than raspberry so the score suffered a bit.

A beautiful ruby red pour with a mauve-pink tinged head. Great nose of sharp tart jammy cherries. Light bodied with a soft mouthfeel. The taste is acidic, cherry, almond with jammy sweet cherry in the finish. Really nicely done, a clean cherry sour.
