Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, nutty brown with a slight haze and a dissipating beige head. Sweet toffee, nuts and brown sugars in the nose. Rich and warming body, rock candy, toffee and hazelnuts with some warming late alcohol. Not the world's most sophisticated Doppelbock, but it's flawless and does the job. 191218

Bottle 50 cl. Pours orangey brown with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Very vague aroma, perhaps a whiff of nuts if you take a real deep sniff. Medium body, vague roast, vague caramel, vague nuttiness, vague hops, vague tartness - get the idea? Use a little more ingredients, show a little love - it's only Xmas once a year after all. 191218

Bottle @ DØE. Pours dark amber with a creamy light tan head, lively bubbles. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, caramel, candy sugar, sweet ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, candy sugar, fruit, little alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 211118

Draught at Brewers Inc. Clear dark amber colour with a thin white head. Sweet spiced aroma with ginger, grapefruit juice and sweet exotic fruits. Taste is light bitter. Medium bodied. Drying fruity finish. An earthy touch. Not very harmonic.

[ As Næstved Suså Manden ].Unclear - hazy medium yellow colour with virtually no - very small off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light hoppy, grass - straw.
