Sample from 50 cl bottle while brewing. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with grasses, yeasts, fruits and a spicy hint. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes drying and fruity with fruits and spicy notes. Ok, rather inoffensive.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark amber with a roughish off-white head. Burned caramel aroma. Rich, malty body, sweet but with some balancing hops. More like a Bock really, a solid malty beer, clean and decent. 210318

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a lightly unclear amber with a tiny, dissipating off-white head. Fruity nose, some subtle phenols but otherwise just sticky sweet caramel. Medium body, lowish carbonation, very sweet toffee and caramel - massively malty with only a bit of late hops. No Belgian characteristics whatsoever - this is an Amber Ale. Pretty sure that this is just "Slattenpatten" in disguise. 210318

Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a creamy and lacing off-white head. Very, very little aroma - perhaps a slight flowery touch. Medium body, some fruit and sweet caramel, biscuity. Hardly any suggestion of hops whatsoever. Most Lagers are hoppier than this. 200318

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy dark amber with a creamy, beige head. Sweet, malty nose with tons of caramel. Body is more of the same, very malty and very sweet caramel. No Belgian esters whatsoever but quite some late bitterness. More of an Amber Ale to be honest. 200318

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an orangey brown with a creamy, off-white head. Slightly roasty nose. Medium body, sweet malty paired with some roastiness again. Clean but very one-dimensional. And with the roastiness it's certainly not a Bock! I believe we have a recipe change here. 150318
