Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a dissipating off-white head. Nose is cough syrup with a touch of some berry character. Rich, malty body, lots of caramel, but the beer doesn’t really get cloying or anything, it has a dryness to it and an acidic edge. Again I get some berry notes although apparently none were added. Not so bad. 160715

bottle at zeppelin bar, vesterbro, from my phone notes. cloudy brown, small offwhite head. mild malty aroma, faint caramelly sweetness, flavor is malty, nutty, deicate hoppy balance, quite tasty, probably good with food.

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Hazy dark brown, rich head. Fruity nose with some marzipan and ash. Dry with light-medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Fruity with some bread and lacquer. Sharp grassy finish with some metal.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Næstved Julebryg ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cabbage water, cardboard, spicy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy bitter, vegetables, spicy, roasted - toasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141024]

Bottle. It pours a dense, beige head of moderate size over a more or less clear brown body. Some lacings. The aroma has yeast and acetone, with roasted malts, cooked vegetables, some spiced hints and some chocolate hints. It’s soft on the palate, semi-sweet, with a nice carbonation level. Glue, coffee notes, roasted malts, concrete dust and some dried fruits in the flavor. Lasting finish. Sure not what I want for Christmas. 141024
