Opaque red-brown color, medium to full sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, a bit dusty, lightly smoke, a hint of leather, lightly sweet-bitter. Nice liquorice finish. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice. Good one.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is phenolic, roasted malt and light fruity. Bitter, dry phenolic, mild fruity and roasted malt. Slight bitter to herbal dry finish.

Bouteille 33cl. Acajou-brun, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme met de suite en avant un profil de levure épicé, moût, rétro de grains et fruité noir; prune. Le tout est ponctué par un malté persistant grillé-toasté, et caramel. Palais est malté, cara pâle et grillé possible touche chocolatée, fruité noir dans une lignée rappelant une version plus légère de Pannepot - effet Deca? Pointe épicée, avec un léger sucre résiduel. Levure belge assez classique mais bien exécutée. Une brown ale? je ne pense pas.

Bouteille 33cl, BB03/2016. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre une bouquet un peu étrange sur un fond de vieille levure. Note verte houblonné, citronnée avec un petit côté chimique et rétro sucre résiduel. Palais se boit comme une bière passée sa date. Un peu suret, retrouve cependant une levure assez pertinente aux installations de Deca avec une touche de sous-bois. Effervescence moyenne-haute avec un léger fini citrique. Passe comme infectée.

Gekocht bij Deca Services in Woesten op 20-06-2015. Het glas heb ik op dezelfde dag gekocht in de brouwerspit tijdens de bierfeesten in Middelkerke 2015. Dronkenput - bruin ziet er donkerbruin uit met een lichtjes bruin schuim, van dat laatste krijg je bij het uitschenken veel in uw glas, het is gelijkmatig van structuur maar toch inzakkend daarna. Pareling was niet te zien wegens te donkerbruin. Het aroma gaat van lichtjes moutig over zwarte schocolade, karamel en ook wat koffie. De smaak is zoetig, en een ietsje bitter. Dronkenput - bruin smaakt ook een klein beetje naar zachte porto. In de mond voelt Dronkenput - bruin zeer prikkelend aan, is hij een ietsie-pietsie droog en is hij helemaal volmondig. De nasmaak is wat bitter en duurt tamelijk lang, de kwaliteit van deze bitterheid is heel harmonisch en de nabitterheid redelijk licht. Een zwaar biertje dat moet gedegusteerd worden, als je er enkele van drinkt begint het schuine glas toch voor problemen? te zorgen.

Pours dark, chocolaty brown with aan almost reddish shine to it. Unclear, caramelly looking. Not much foam. Scent is sweet. Taste is bit bitter , some chocolate. Mild and dry yeastprofile. Sweet baack , but nothing like sugar.. very clearly malt-sweetness. Nice

330 ml. bottle. Purchased @ De Hopduvel. BBF strip not notched. Dark reddish brown furniture, small patchy tanned head. Nose is sweet wood, licorice, spices, brown sugar, huge spices, banana, BE but in an interesting way. Taste is big sweet wood, furniture, licorice, huge spices, faint almost anise, raisin, sugar, banana, raisins, herbal cacao, quite herbal… Light plastic, spices body. Very BE but nicely made, some odd notes here there, some odd herbal furniture but still not bad.

Das Bier hat eine trübe orangebraune Farbe und eine schöne dunkel beige Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, schokoladig, leicht nussig. Geschmack kräftig röstmalzig, bitter, schokoladig, nussig, gering hopfig, gut!

330 ml. bottle sampled. Purchased @ De Hopduvel. Interesting label. No etching on BBF strip. Strongly hazy orange, blond, huge egg-white collapsing head. Nose is esters, big plaster yeast, rainwater, light paint, unpleasant BE esters. Taste is dough, phenolic, paint, big esters, light pepper, big powdery dough finish, white sugar, touch plaster, touch zest, touch grass. Fizzy, plaster yeasty body. Bland standard Belgian. It is bland & far too common but there is nothing offensive here, it drinks okay. A bit paper-like, bland but okay. Which is probably how it was meant to be. Should do its trick on the beach.
