33cl bottle (BB12th August 2028, little writting tells you not to age this beers) from my last trip to Belgium (no idea where I actually bought it). Poured into a Westmalle Trappist chalice at home on 21st February 2026. Mini haze in the light golden body, thin, but full white crust. Yeasty, herbal nose, unmistakably Belgian without actually having a sip. It's a sweet Tripel (as is often the case), Barley Sugar sweet in fact. Oaked with Apple Wood according to the labelling, didn't notice that while drinking the beer.

330ml bottle @ El Dorado Zomerbar, Diksmuide. Pours a deep hazed brown, large tan head. Aroma of sweet caramelised sugar, sweet malt, yeast. Continues to taste, quite a high carb, moderately sweet, could be a fuller body, generally decent.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque blonde colored brew with loads of yeast, like that a lot. Dry bitter taste and hints of spices and some citrus.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear dark copper brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of fuit, malt, and caramel, with touches of yeast and fruit. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, fruit and yeast, with notes of dried fruit and hoppy hints. Dry and malty aftertaste with bitter and fruity touches. A nice one for the style.

Bottle, 8%. Citric aroma, slightly unclean, dark caramel. Clear dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is bready, caramelly, metallic, funky. The mouthfeel is slimy, though. Like that Chinese soup. Almost like gelatine.

Bottle 33 cl. Massive gusher, exploded out of the bottle - leaving only a tiny bit of fluid in the bottle. Cloudy, opaque brown with a smallish, rough, off-white head. Belgian yeast aroma with dark, dried fruits, molasses and licorice. Rich and sweet, spicy and licoricey, dates and dried fruit. Subdued bitterness, and a warming finish. But the gushing mess it left is naturally unacceptable. 040324
