Bottle 330ml.Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, moderate to heavy yeasty, wood, spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Spicy and herbal aroma with a not-so-fine yeasty note. Sweet fruity flavour with a little touch of hot alcohol.

Bottle, 8.5% as Santa-Bee. Malty and yeasty aroma, baking yeast. Dark brown colour, red shine. Has a little floating bits. The flavour is nicely malty with a bit of sweetness and sweet spices. Some vinous notes with a distinct, but good alcohol flavour. Some yeast in the aftertaste. OK balanced and a good example of a christmas beer.

On tap at DHVL. Brown colour with lasting beige head. It’s ok, some ok malt in mouth. From the others at the table who had it I was expecting a bit more, but as I drank it, I couldn’t really discern anything other than it was a pretty decent malty Belgian ale. Which it is.

Cloudy golden with floaties and a tiny white short lasting head. Sweet aroma with coriander, malt and yeasty notes. Sweet and sourish flavour with overripe fruits, malt and caramel notes. Finished sweet.

Bottle, 8.5%. Mild spicy aroma, bit of wet hops. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, has a good spicy note and more of the wet hop note. Quite well-balanced and pleasant.

33 cL bottle at DHVL Gardenparty and Beerfestival 2009. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is cascade hops, citrusy, grapefruity and mild yeasty note. Smooth yeasty, light grapefruity and flavourful hoppy. Bitter and grapefruity/passionfruity flavoured finish.
