Cloudy amber beer. Crisp semi dry palate. Tart malt with well balanced orange and lemon. A little spice and the malt turns creamy. Seltzer like effervescence in the finish. Refreshing.

24/IV/2012 - 33cl bottle @ Klaas' place - BB: III/12 (2012-401) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the beer!
Note: GUSHER ALERT!
Pretty cloudy muddy red brown beer, no head, some bit and smaller chunks floating around. Aroma: little sweet, some spices, chocolate, sour berries. MF: low carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet start, fruity touches, sweet malts, little meaty. Aftertaste: ripe to rotten fruits, red berries, some dark chocolate. In all, not quite as bad as I had suspected.

Bottle at 6.8% from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours very hazy dark copper with small dark chunks. Frothy beige head. There’s an extremely strong evergreen, perhaps spruce, aroma. Full bodied and very frothy. There’s a sour component, lots of fruit, and still evergreen. Yeast/spice. Probably more stuff, but it’s all complexly intermingled. Certainly more dry than not. Very tasty, if a bit challenging.

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy murky opaque orange color with a big white head on top. Smell malts, hops, slightly sweet. Taste malts, hops, slightly grapefruit, tangerine, bitter. Soft carbonation, medium body. Decent, but lacks intensity imo.

Had this from bottle at Vilvordia Bier Proef Festival, Jette, Brussels, Belgium Sat 24th March 2012 with Loz and in company of Simon, Jackie & David Pours warm gold with a large white frothy head and busy carbonation. Soft in mouth but a decent IPA pushing through. Tangy, bitter and with grapefruit coming to the fore now. I like this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
