Draft at the source. Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a half finger white head. All kinds of citrus and tropical fruits in the aroma. Taste is medium bitter. Citrus and pine. Light bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, awesome. This may be my new pig minds go-to.

Sample. Too bland to inspire me to order a full serving. Deepish caramel malt tones, standard hop feel. OK, but uninspired, too boring for me to get into.

Tap at PM. Hazy brown-tan-orange. Big beige head, creamy and steady. Earthy melon hop tones, quite different than a typical IIPA. Downright odd cantaloupe, pungent yet bland fruit tones. While unique and modern enough, this doesn’t really nail it. Oily, earthy, not that good. I don’t get and Citra or Galena. Not the worst beer out there but unimpressive for the style and the brewer.

Tap at Sugar Maple. Opaque brown-black body, thin oily head. Massive coffee aroma. Big, serious coffee flavor. Perhaps one of the most coffee forward beers I’ve had. A pretty phenomenal Coffee Stout, the coffee dominates to the point where it is hard to gauge the ABV. Clean chocolate backdrop really lets the coffee shine. Top notch. The brown sugar and coffee meld perfectly. Thick coffee grounds. Exotic, bold, fantastic.

Tap at Pig Minds. Burgundy-brown, unfiltered. Thin, steady off-white head. Rich and malty, leans into the amber malt. I don’t get any lager tones. American version all the way, not too authentic. Chewy and full bodied, not a beer you’d want a stein of. Comes off more English than German.

Tap at PM. Hazy tan-orange. Kind of bland, straightforward. Boring Golden malt, sort of a sterilized Steam beer. Not one I’ll revisit. Drinkable, middle of the road.

Candied belgian sugar, cloce and banana with a little bitter hops. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Belgians are not my favorite style, but im digging this one.

Draft at pigminds. Pours black with a half finger of dark brown head. Aroma is totally dominated by strong black coffee. Taste is light bitter. Coffee dominance with a slightly sweet hint of brown sugar. Full bodied with a thinner than expected texture. Soft carbonation and a finish that will probably stay with me for the rest of the night. Overall, awesome. This one would be great to try barrel aged.
