Bottle during RBSG 2014 Post-Grand Tasting Hotel Share. Black with light tan head. Aromas of roast, coffee, bourbon. Tastes of roast, dark chocolate, big bourbon, dark fruit. Medium-full body with a dry finish.

Growler brought back by Anndiesel. Murky orange-brown-tan body. Not much of a head. Mild canned peach aroma. Unique. Big hop character, 100+ IBU action, but the fruit and the unfiltered body sort of ground it. mellow it out. I like this better than Dogfish Aprihop, but I’d still rather have a straight up IPA, or maybe even straight up Peach beer. I am always suspicious of awkward fruit pairing in beers, wondering if they wanted to save a costly infected batch.

Growler picked up[ from the brewery by Anndiesel. Hazy unfiltered orange-tan body. Steady, creamy white/off-white head. Chewy rye tones come through and take center stage, balanced out by some mellow cool mild tropical hops. A pretty solid beer, but not as memorable as some of their other stuff.
