12 oz. can from the brewery. Pours a crystal clear amber-gold color with a white head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Hops aroma with some juicy notes. The flavor is dominated by bitter hops with no juicy notes at all. Not sure why they call it a tropical pale ale. Tastes like a regular IPA to me. Medium body and medium carbonation. Moderate-high bitterness. Not my style. Tick.

Straightforward wheat ale, a little more of a classic German hefe than hopped-up American version. Soft vanilla and clove, gentle citrus undertones, good on a hot day while wandering around beachside shops at Vero Beach.

Throwback tourist IPA, citrus and berry notes on top of caramel and pine. Basic as basic can be.

Bottle - dark straw color, moderate lace - harkens back to the ipas of the early days of craft beer - somewhat malt forward and bready, but dries out through the middle and gets peppery and moderately bitter - finish is a little thin, but has a nice lingering dank hoppiness.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy gold color with a white head and good retention. Very little lacing. Light bready malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Light bready malt flavor with a slightly yeasty and soapy finish. Medium-light body. Lower than average carbonation. Low bitterness. Not my favorite profile, but not bad.

I really didn't even pay attention to the can, just knew it was from Islamorada, and thought it was maybe their IPA that I'd had before. But no, imagine my surprise with the big whack of citrus in this thing! A little too much really, bordered on shandy territory but with orange juice, but there's some lemon in there too it seems. Otherwise semi-sweet to sweet bready malts, a little too heavy it seemed, I think that was the juiciness. It was OK. Cloudy orange-amber.

Crisp, ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, pale white head that fades fast and leaves just about nothing on top. Aroma of grass, wheat, light herbs and a hay-like note without anything coming from the nose, aside from some slight sweetness from citrus fruits. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and wheatie profile at first with a good dose of yeast and grain and only a touch of herbal elements, with some bitterness from flowers and yeast that has hints of bread towards the end. Aftertaste is dry and malty with the yeast, wheat and alcohol coming through at the end, without any hops, sweetness or real characteristics or complexity to help out. Overall, a dry and very floral profile without much else aside from some wheat and yeastie, breadiness. Not a great beer, but at least enjoyable in the heat of Florida, even during Winter! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from the Marina Store in Flamingo, Everglades National Park, Florida on 27-December-2020 for US$1,75 sampled at my hotel room here in Sanibel, Florida on 29-December-2020.
