33cl Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet dark malts, dark fruits, yeast, a bit of cellar, almost vinous. Resembles St. Bernardus a bit imho. Flavour is medium-sweet, quite malty, chocolate, dark fruits, raisin and grape, toast, firm hoppy and light roasted bitter finish, bordering on herbal. Medium to full-bodied, soft mouthfeel. Tasty.

pours amber, no real foam . hoppy, but not nearly hoppy enough for an IPA ? taste is sweet, ( sugary sweet) , bitter, bit hops. ok, but i guess they’re a one-hit-wonder for now...

33cl Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is floral, light malty, pale malts, light fruity, hint of tropical fruits. Flavour is light to medium-sweet, dry, light malty, floral, light fruity, some lemon, hint of tropical fruits, yeast, nice bitter hoppy finish. Light-bodied. Nice Belgian blond ale.

Bottled@HBF2013. Brown hazy colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, ripe fruits, alcohol and some mild yeasty and toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite similar, but with stronger notes of the sweet malts and also quite syrupy notes.

33cl Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent. Clear golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of NZ hops (I think), Citra, loads of cat piss and pine, some fruitiness. Flavour is a lot more mellow, soft sweet malts, nice fruity hops, a hint of caramel, pine, tart citrus, almost minty, nice dry bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied, smooth carbonation. Tasty.
