On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with light persistent head. Aromas of light roasted malts and sugary coffee. Flavors of sweet roasted malts, a bit of grain, and light coffee. Mild, inoffensive and easy to drink.

On tap. Pours a clear mahogany with a small, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of milk chocolate and orange. Sweet flavour of milk chocolate, toffee, roasted malt, orange and a hint of spice with a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. A novelty beer that borders on cloying.

946ml growler/jug kinda thingy found in Surrey. Good golden body, decent foamy head, good hoppy goodness but not too sharp kind of muddled. Highly drinkable, went down quick amongst those of us sharing the bottle. Crisp finish. Good flavour despite the low alcohol. Would be a good crowd pleaser for any crowded party.

946ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-yellow with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves plenty of lace. Mild aroma of grainy malt with citrus and light pine. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, grapefruit and pine with a bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not bad, just boring.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Very dark color, almost black. Mikd spicy aroma and flavor, blend of cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, ginger; then, there is light caramel flavor, and the mouthfeel is quite dry.
Not badly brewed, just a useless concept; who would drink a full glass of this?

Bottle thanks to Kurt and Erin! Pours a very dark brown with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of dark grains and light roast with a slight astringency. Flavor is different with a bit more of a sweet dark grain note, some toffee and a light biscuit note.

Bottle - Light pithy citrus and some caramel. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Caramel and light hoppy citrus bitterness. Touch of orange.Earlier Rating: 6/20/2013 Total Score: 3Bottle - Resin, pine and a sweet malt backbone. Nice rich head with a clear copper hue. Bitter and resinous at the get go, a bit spicy and some burn in the finish. More like the pith of an orange than anything else with a long bitter finish. Not that great.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy dark bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops and a somewhat stale bready malt. Flavour is very bland and subdued, with an earthy hoppiness and bready malt base. Lifeless hop character and rather stale malt bed. Not good at all.
Earlier Rating: 4/11/2015 Total Score: 3.2
On tap at Whistler Brewing, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is fairly light on hops for an IPA, with some grapefruit and light tropical fruits. Flavour brings out passionfruit and grapefruit, with light piney hops. Clean and balanced, with a nice bitter finish. Solid IPA.
