Clear golden, small off-white head. Moderately grainy and bready aroma. Sweet, bready flavour with a floral note. Clean. Smooth, creamy but not cloying, soft to moderate carbonation, dry finish.

On tap at Tigh Nora, Galway. Clear golden, small but lasting off-white head. Aroma is soft grainy and bready, clean. Lean bready, soft caramely taste. Creamy, slightly cloying, no crisp character, lacks hoppiness. Finishes dry.

On tap at Caravan's Pub, Galway. Clear amber, small to medium off-white head. Aroma is soft caramel and bready note, soft earthy hop note. Flavour is sweet caramel, rye bread, hints of herbal and earthy hops. Not too sweet, not too creamy, drinkable, soft texture, light body, moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Old school traditional style.
