Bottle, Black with a modest tan head. Aroma is roasty with mocha, dark berries, some soy sauce. 7- Silky, lowish carbonation. Sweet mocha is a little milky, roasted malt is firm, berry note leads into slightly spiced and decisive bitterness. Good.

Bottle, bb 11/19. In a Duvel glass, it's slightly cloudy with an inch of white head. Aroma of some light dough, light herbs, cloves, loads of citrus - some of which is yuzu, can't really tell where it ends. Full bodied with a slightly creamy texture. The yuzu gets buried initially, then creeps up with a slight acid edge. Pale malt is firm and the beer is just short of boozy with alcohol perhaps adding to a drying spicy finish. It's a bit strong golden and a bit like a drier strong citrus-perfumed Wit. And a good beer.

Bottle. At a guess, this came to Australia because they failed to stick the labels on properly. Mid brown with a fine beige head that lasts really well. Spicy lemon fresh aroma is very cleaning product at first but more subtle lemon myrtle or prickly ash after a while. Underneath is a toasty dough. A sip suggests it _is_ prickly ash (numbing included) - I like it but it's too much. But it melds effectively with spicy doughy yeast and some caramel and grilled peach. And after a while I kind of admire that they've gone for it rather than put a hint of spice in there. Alcohol is present but well integrated. Bold, interesting.

Dirty-hazy pour, some white foam on top, looking a bit dirty as well. Nose is nicely hoppy and fruity, peach character definitely there, beautiful fresh hops. Sweetish and juicy. Tastes smooth and silky, good balance between bitterness and hops, neither one is dominating. Goes down just too quickly, very drinkable. Actually liking this one a lot, better than I expected and definitely has that NEIPA character. Good one.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Far Yeast’s newest NEIPA Peach Nightcrawler 6.3% A turbid brown which doesn’t look appetizing to be honest. However the aroma is pretty good spritzy fruit with the mildest of peach notes. Light bodied and dry with lots of hoppiness, the taste is minty herbal then peach fuzz and tropical fruits. It’s a tasty beer but I’m not digging the look or getting much peach from this, maybe it’s too cold from my fridge. I know it’s been on tap here and there but I’d say this isn’t as nice as the original still good though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Komachi. Nice nose of peaches, orange, mango, wheat. Very cloudy yellow-orange, almost too much. Flavor is juicy orange, peaches, wheat. Bitterer than usual for the style, with the finish being a bit harsh. Not one of the best examples I have had in Japan, but not bad at all.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Roasty, chocolate nose, some minerals, cream, light coffee. Belgian yeast character comes through well. Deep shiny black with a pretty tan head. starts sweet, chocolate, berries, cafe au lait. Bitter, roasty finish. This one is in good shape. There is a bit of soy / nato funkiness too. Very bitter finish is mostly hops I think. Soft, silky body. Well done, finally. Too bitter for my liking actually, but that is more a preference than a fault.

330 ml bottle from Yamaichi. Huge, spicy, cake-like nose with sansho, caramel, coriander, citrus fruits. Slightly smoky malt. Not ce but very spicy. Deep orange amber with a lovely, abt-like head. Flavor is sansho, on top of lovely caramel malts and Belgian yeast spice. Too much sansho for sure. Nice citrus, plus booze. Should be better with age. The sansho is way, way over the top and kinda ruins it. At least it’s not infected.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Again a dry, mineral nose. Possibly infected as with the rest, touch of chocolate, caramel, Belgian yeast. Pretty orange-brown with a high, proper head. Flavor is again very dry and minerally in a way that I hate. It isn't undrinkable, and not that pukey king of infection, so I almost think it could be the water, although I doubt it. The problem has been there is 3 of the past 5 beers from them. This one almost seems infected but less than others. Don’t know what they are doing, but I don't like it.
