Tap at Maruho Namba Skyo. Far Yeast x Gweilo Brut IPA 7% A slightly opaque soft straw gold, medium bodied and bone dry. The carbonation is fairly aggressive but the juicy tropical flavor is good and delivers. I’ve gotta say this is one of the better brut IPAs I’ve tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Maruho Namba Skyo. Far East x Maruho Mix Juice Saison 6% Opaque hazy gold with a spicy wheat aroma and an eggy tangy saison flavor with an incredibly soft round carbonation. This is a great saison though not so super juicy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I seem to like Far Yeast best when they play it safer. Nothing fancy here, just a solid IPA. I'd get another. Gotta try the black version.

Fantastic. Super refreshing, nice and fruity - even banana juice. Hiro Maruho's recipe is spot on. Maybe my favorite Far Yeast brew yet.

Quite pleasant, definite red wine aroma. Nice sipper, not boozy at all. Nothing special, although I think it's meant to be.

Tap at Osaka-jo Craft Beer Holiday 2018. Dark brown, hazy. Nose is berries, chocolate, citrus fruit like orange. Smooth and balanced, nice fruity hops. Decent but not all that memorable.

I've had one or two coffee IPAs before, but this one is unique. Actually stronger roast taste than most coffee stouts.

Far Yeast Kriek in the Flesh Clear red with a beige-lightly pink head and a tart cherry and nutty (from the pits) aroma. Light bodied with a slick soft mouthfeel and a great tart cherry slightly nutty oaky flavor with maybe even hints of saltiness.
