Bottle from Yamaoka. Resiny, citrus hop nose with caramel malt, toasty. Old school but smells nice enough. There is a bit of tropical fruit in there too. Dark amber-orange with a tall, fine head. Fruity, minerally, citrus, apples, a bit off I think, acetaldehyde and that minerally, airy thing that often comes with a light infection. Dry overall, though some caramel and sweet fruit. Dry finish. Has some issues, but it is their first beer to make themselves at the new brewery, and as such is not too bad, though needs to be dialed in a bit.

Bottle, small stable creamy head, very cloudy darkish red color with rusty orange taints, aroma of fruit candy and citrus with yeasty and oxidised hints, flowery, fruit dcandy flavor with a lemony citrusy and shrubby hints, medium bodied and quite smooth. Highly enjoyable.

Bottle at Beer Collection, Bangkok. Very hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, yuzu, citrus and light herbal notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Yep it’s a Belgian beer with a Japanese twist.

Far Yeast American Golden Ale Relatively clear gold with a thick head. It’s got a fruity aroma with a candyish edge to it. Medium to full bodied with a nice soft mouthfeel. The taste is candyish with an almost creamsicle character to it. Quite pleasant and I’d happily order it at a bar, it’ll satisfy though not wow. Better than most golden ales I try.

Tap at Bakuon 16. Nose is lemon and orange candy. Fruity but somehow sugary. Simple, sweet, lemon and orange flavors on top of biscuity malt. Ok but simple.
