Bottle from The Good Beer Company, Smith St, Singapore. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus, big floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth aromatic, light woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Kagua Rouge on tap at Craft Beer Holiday. It pours a very deep reddish brown with a foamy beige head. Not as red as I expected but still appetizing enough. The aroma is huge lemon zest, pepper & coriander, very much a spiced belgian ale. The taste is malty sweet with a spiced caramel bun kind of flavor. Something you’d expect to find at a Christmas dinner. The candied orange, malt & spice flavor is tasty. I like it.

On tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Far Yeast First Ascent IPA 5% A fairly clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is very yeasty giving me notes of sweet tarts & flowery/fruity hops. The taste is sweetly fruity then quite bitter. Meh.

Tap at Burger Mania. Listed as a weizen. Lightly cloudy gold with no head (weird, but Burger Mania doesn’t put heads on anything, but I was surprised as it was listed as a weizen...anyway.). Light clove aromas with some fruity and peppery saison like esters. Taste is more of the same with some light sourness. Finish is more weizen like. Ehhh, it’s ok.

This one is also 5% version - and as I am drinking from the bottle, it does say Far Yeast Tokyo IPA 第2版 - which could be different version from "2015". Anyway, as others have rated 5% version here, so I am doing it also. Pours somewhat murky orange-amber. Not much head. Aroma is funky-yeasty - definitely more belgian than anything else, IPA character rather subdued. Herbal, green apples. Taste has this herbal bitterness bite at first, then turns somewhat maltier and grassy. In the aftertaste it is one-man show by Belgian Yeast, giving it earthy and somewhat "old books" feeling. Overall, not bad, not great either but decent beer (but not really an IPA in my book).
