Can. Lots of delicious coffee going on here, some booze and alcohol, hints of dark chocolate. Cocoa. Quite dry, tannins. Overall, nice indeed, but a bit too dry, on the cocoa side. 747415 260813

Bottle, 75cl, at Cafe Humlen. Sweet, warming, nicely carbonated. Dark dried fruit, caramel, toffee, fruit caramel and some alcohol. Quite bitter, overpowering the sweetness. Pine cones. Lasting finish. A bit too heavy, but delicious indeed. 848416 260808

0.473l can, shared with Sima & David. Aroma of cinnamon, roasted malt, spices and nuts. Pours dark brown color with thin soapy light brown head and fair lacing. Taste starts
with rich and sweet roasted malt, follows by cinnamon, vanilla and wood, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Speedway spice…

Fantastic. Smooth and creamy, with notes of unsweetened chocolate, caramel, roast, coffee, and a touch of cascara, followed by a firm, lengthy bitterness and lingering roasted malt. My new platonic ideal of a nitro stout.

Can. Almost clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Fairly light palate for the style, a little dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied dark malts, a thin but pleasing dark malt cream. Mild chocolate. Some milk chocolate where the modest vanilla intersects the dark malts. The cinnamon is quite a revelation, comes over as a fruity tea like flavour, very modest spice. Light smooth finish. Comes together very well into an Impy off the beaten track and, rather quaffable with it.

C: opaque dark brown
N: uber-chocolate, fudge, vanilla, vanilla pudding, cocoa
P: full bodied, heaps of chocolate, vanilla, vanilla pudding, super balanced overall. Although it has a big dose of vanilla, still a very straight forward imperial stout. Alcohol is present, but it's nice and warming. Superb. Well worth the 15€ I paid.

Chestnut to mahogany colour, medium sized dense beige-ish head; aroma of raisins, prune, some dried cherry, cinnamon, clove, burnt sugary, rhum, oak barrel and slight cocoa notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; amazing beer! Thanks so much for sharing, Kapusil!
