Dark brown. No head. Ok, that is a really nice aroma - toasty coffee, light vanilla and cacao for accent, along with dark sugars. On the palate, lots of sugars, some sweet chocolate, and the coffee slides in late with toastiness but there's also a lot of vanilla in there as well. It's not subtle in any of this. Finishes with a lot of coffee. Just weird that there's no real barrel character here.

Poured from 473mL can, sludgey gel leftover at the bottom of the can. Near black with no head. Bourbon, coffee, vanilla, cacao, booze, although everything is a bit muted on the taste.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 06, 2025.
Aroma is chocolate forward with lots of vanilla as well. Light roast and coffee notes. Light cinnamon notes and a bit of a pepper note as well. Medium alcohol notes with light bourbon and rum notes and hints of oak.
Pours jet black with a small, thin, dark mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears.
Flavor is rather sweet with lots of chocolate notes and lighter roast, toffee and caramel. Moderate bitterness and medium alcohol warmth. Medium coffee notes with some light pepper and spice notes. Light vanilla and lighter cinnamon. Light bourbon and rum notes with faint oak.
Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid BA imperial stout. Lots of nice chocolate, vanilla and pepper notes. Alcohol notes are nice and work with the adjuncts.

Pretty damn amazing pint. Caramel, apple, pine, toasted waffles(?), oak, and rum, and this beast drinks like a 5% kölsch. Delicious.

Pounder can for 3$. Pour is big and black, impressive, but there is no real nitro head action like I was expecting. Malty nose, no sign of coffee in the aroma. Rather mello on the uptake. Easy drinken coffee stout, probably better than most. A better flavor than I was expecting. I just wish it had some carbonation, but hey, it is a nitro. Not sure if I would style this as a pastry stout, if it really is, its one of the best non cloying pasties I've ever had. Yes, a pretty good stout and an even better coffee stout. Smooth and civilized from start to finish. Not bad! Just miss the nitro head action and the carbonation. There, you have it.

Pale, slight haze. Medium head. Bright aroma - weedy and citrusy. Well-balanced, clean pale malt, nice cannabis accent to the hops.

Gold, lacks head. Lots of saaz up front on the nose. Light body, oddly fruity, juicy, not quite the czech lager vibe, really.

Dark brown. Aroma’s good - lots of chocolate and caramel. Taste is a bit thin, harsh, the caramel coming across artificial over top the speedway. These elements are not coming together. Too fake.

Dark brown. Rich, soft and sweet. Loads of coconut, nice coffee, and the barrel brings everything together. Excellent variant.
