Description
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

Hazy orange, decent off-white head. Strong sugary aroma of green apples. Crisp, bitter, very strong apple flavor - acidy green apples with some added sugar. Flavor is about what you colud expect. Drinkable but too sugary.

Labeled at only 3.5% ABV. A red beer with a huge pink head. The aroma is powerfully black currant - and nothing else - just like black currant juice - nice, but not really what I want in my beer. The flavor is very sweet with a good acidity and lots of black currant, leading to a dry woody note. I like the combination of the sweet black currant juice and the acidity.

Dark golden with a small head. Fresh aroma with lots of lemon, and perhaps some metal? Sweet flavour with some fruity acid underneath. Refreshing, but a little sweet for my tastes.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden, small head. Fresh aroma and flavour of green apples. Sweet with some freshening acidity. The apple flavour is delightful, even though a tad candyish, but the sweetnes gets a little excessive.

Thin pink coarse-laced head; ruby-red opaque body. Powerful aroma of, well, raspberry; sourish, kind of like a raspberry sauce. Taste is all raspberry, big and round, somewhat stale, growing sharpish towards the end. May sound boring (or like I’m very unimaginative :), but it’s actually very nice. Not in the least artificial-tasting, and not so sour you can’t enjoy it.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small foamy head. Fruit strawberry and raspberry along with tea in aroma. Fruits and berries along with tea (incl the dryness) in the flavour. Very pleasant. Sweet and sourish finish and aftertaste.

Bottle Hazy blond body. White, frothy head. Sweet (artificial) apple aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly sour flavour, but not very well-balanced. Yet another uninteresting beer in their gamma, luckfully not as sweet as others. Why don’t they make an oude kriek in the Cuvée Rénée-style?

Test vom 15.8.2005, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,10,9,8,-,9 - 9,31

Bottle Pours a cloudy pale peach color with a modest fine white head that settles to a lasting thin film. Nice sheeting lacing. Aroma are fruity, apricots, peaches, apple cider and a sweet woody character. Tart lemon and apple flavors. Later, more of the musty yeasty flavors comethrough. Dry quick finish and a fine but lively carbonation. A nice refreshing change and tart/sour is what I like.
