Description
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

Bottle (label says: "Souvenirs Du Terroir Gueuze de Bruxelles") Amber-orangey colour, clear, extremely thin white foamy layer; fruity nose (lemon, citrus) very small traces of "horse-blanket" or mushrooms or "cellar"; sweetish-fruity taste, kind of artificial; only very light tart and bitter aftertaste; far away from the best examples of it’s kind; too sweet, too bland.......

(Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden, slightly hazy beer with a very white head leaving a pretty lacework. Very pronounced notes of apple. Slightly sweet with some perfumy touches. But very drinkable also, and actually wellmade. An excellent aperitif I reckon. Wonder what the base beer is? Witbier? 220401

(Bottle 25 cl) Dark red, close to black actually, with a reddish, dense and rather creamy head. Rather acidic both from the lambic and the black currant although lots of sugar is added. But very fresh indeed. 161199

(Bottle 25 cl) This beer is so deeply red, that it’s actually closer to black - almost opaque - with a small pinkish head. Apparently not brewed with whole raspberries but with syrup. Very sugarish but not enough to conceal the acidity of the Lambic. Far from my favourite in this style. 121099

(Bottle 25 cl) By now I really shouldn’t let myself be surprised by anything when it comes to Belgian beers - but a tea beer?? Come on...! I guess the growing popularity of ice tea is the explanation for this, and really it is rather close to a soft drink. Clear, amber colour with a small, fizzy head. First impression is sweet and sour - sweet citrusy - but quickly I sense the tea flavours although they are rather fleeting. Not exactly unpleasant but not for every day either. 230999

(Bottle 75 cl) Vintage 1994. Most Lindeman products are sweetened and "commercial", but then comes this traditional gueuze. Dark amber and surrprisingly lively since it’s five years old. This has got all the typical gueuze notes of vinegar etc. etc., very tart indeed with flavours that evolve ever so beautifully in your mouth. Hardcore stuff. 240699

(Bottle 25 cl) Amber coloured with a rather flat head. Lovely nut-like aroma, initial sophisticated tartness soon relieved by the wonderful sweetness from the candi sugars. Very refreshing swet and sour blend. Faros are a favourite. 270499

Bottle: Poured a dirty yellowish color beer with a huge foamy head with excellent retention. Aroma of funky barnyard, wild sourness and Belgian yeast. Taste is sour (as expected) with some faint sweetness and some funky yeast. Acidity is well balance, which I appreciate and body is quite full. Overall this is a nice Gueuze remove from the sweet fruit lambic that they also produce.
