Description
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

Bottled. Dark red colour, reddish foamy head. Lacing. Strong flavour of blueberries. Blueberries in flavour and a long bitterish finish. Mouthdrying. Very refreshing.

(Bottle 25 cl) Comes as "’s Lands Souvenirs du Terroir Gueuze de Bruxelles". The label says 4% ABV. Dark golden, almost amber. Filtered, but yet it appears slightly hazy. Small, light, creamy head. A "commercial" (=sweetened) gueuze, which makes up for some of the sourness. But still sharp and acidic. And still unique. 200802 As: "Gueuze Foudroyante" for the French market: 6/3/6/3/12=3.0 141002 As: "Lindemans Gueuze at 5% ABV: 6/3/6/3/12=3.0 171297

Bottle: Poured a dark pink beer with a huge bubbly head that leaves mark throughout my glass. Aroma is totally overpowered by raspberry syrup with extreme sweetness. Taste is mostly covered by the sweetness of the syrup and with some subtle sourness coming from the lambic base. This is one of my guilty pleasure beer because even thought I agree that is doesn’t respect all traditional guideline of lambic-fruit, the syrup is real good and refreshing…

Bottle: Poured a hazy light yellow color ale with a nice bubbly head that disappeared a tad too fast – the appearance is similar to a wit. Aroma is dominated by apples, very sweet and not sour at all which is probably due to the fact that syrup was used. Taste is very refreshing but malt and hops are not distinguishable. Overall, I would say that this is better then some of the other Belgian fruit syrup beers out there.

Impressive gueuze. It’s not as assertive as Cantillon, but brings a good deal of farmhouse character, intense acidity, length and complexity. It is perhaps less funky than most - like a slightly cleaner version of Girardin. On the sweeter side these days, it is one of the fruitier, more citrusy and refreshing examples of oud gueuze, and one of the more vinous ones as well.

Peach colored with a small head. Smells of ripe peaches and other sweet things. Flavor is sweet peach- with a hint of leafish stuff in there, which is actually very nice. A tasty lambic.

I am a huge fan of Lindemans. I always have some around my house, though due to price concerns I do not allow myself to drink through it very fast. Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer pours a dark golden amber color with a large creamy white head and a decent amount of sediment. The aroma is very sour, tart, and vaguely fruity. The flavor is very sour, tangy and tart. There is a mild underlying sweetness. There is a decent fruity flavor though distinct fruits are not noticeable.

Slightly hazy deep red color, medium pink head. Aroma of faint raspberry esters, a hint of metal. Sweet artificial taste of raspberry. Not very tart. You can’t wake in the middle of the night for this one.

Bottle. Slightly sweet aroma - cherry and vinegar aromas most apparant. Dark tan color - clear with decent, quick collapsing head. Tart sweet cherry and apple flavor - slight hint of vinegar - crisp and acidic. On the non-traditional side of the lambic debate.
