Description
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

(sample more than 2 yrs. - old) Dark amber colour. No head. Woody nose, but restrained. Very refined lambic. Taste is immediately very sour, lactic acid. Afterwards, fills out somewhat, ever-so-slight bitterish tannine-tang. Dry-out effect. Medium bodied. Quite fine lambic, restrained but convincing - OK base for excellent gueuzes.

Bronze colour, seems fake. Real peach-flavour: sweet, sticky ... Also tastes like. Somehow, somewhy I imagined eating jam whem drinking this. Finishes little bitter.

Slightly woody, harmonic aroma. Hazy red, red head. Pretty sweet cherry taste, easy to drink. Refreshing but not that special.

Pecheresse 37.5 cL Bottle:
Hazy golden orange coloured body with a very light white head. Aroma of peaches (of course), apricots, caster sugar, wheat and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied; Perfectly effervescent taste with good fruit flavours up front fading to a nice sweetness and a mellow yeastie taste. Aftertaste is well rounded by the alcohol and fruit, which definitely dominate. Overall a very nice lambic - sweet, yet somewhat sour and definitely fruity. I prefer this one to the peche lambic i’ve had in the states, but perhaps thats because i’m drinking this one in the country where it’s produced?!? I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 29-December-2007.
Rating for this sample: 8,4,7,4,16

Normal 75 cL ’Peche’ Bottle:
Great colour, and an amazing smell! Great head as well. Fantastic taste, and the aftertaste is phenominal. You barely think you are drinking beer...its more like a champagne with peach nectar! Rating for this sample: 8,4,9,5,17

The head is pink.......PINK! I just can't get over that. Looks and smells like a wine cooler....I wanted a beer. OK, with that out of the way. The flavor is tart and sweet at the same time, which isn't much to my liking, but it's not bad. Lots of currants in the flavor, at a sour, mouth-puckering finish. It is somewhat similar to Quelque Chose, but much more tart, and not nearly as enjoyable.

Incredible fruity nose which makes you wonder where the vanilla icecream is that goes with it. Neon red - low head. Sweet, sodalike with a sour background - could be more though. All in all refreshing and nice.

Like opening a can of peaches. Sugary sweet and a unmistakable peach flavoring. Hazy orange, initially with heavy carbonation, lace clinging to glas. Creamy mothfeel which goes well with the sweet flavor. It is possible to taste the lambic background, but all in all the drink is much too sweet - your kids will love it though...
