About
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

Deep plum colored, with a large purplish head. Lovely blackcurrant aroma. taste is of sweet, ripe, blackcurrants- like you just picked one off of a bush and popped it into your mouth. A fine lambic, though one at a time is more than emough.

Bottled. Bronze colour, rich head. Very sweet and juicy. Rounded mouthfeel. Some lemon an tea. Not much of a beer, but as a sweet soft drink it’s not too shabby.

Bottle Pours a cloudy pink/purple with a very nice light pink head. I’m not sure how black currants are supposed to taste but the aroma is wonderful. full and strong. A cross between cherries and grapes. Flavor is a terrific mix of sweet and tart. Stong carbonation, and a dry finish. Very refreshing. Delicious.

pale amber, clear, near no head.Arpma of apples and crystalized sugar. Sweet and juicy, still with soft mouthfeel and some depth. There is just over a hint of citric acidity. Fresh, and in good condition like this a highly refreshing drink. You can tell that somewhere under the sweetness this is actually based on quality lambic.

A pink beer with a fine but disappearing pink head. The aroma is strong of raspberries. The flavor is dominated by raspberries and is more sweet than it is sour, which is drawback - but it is still a nice beer.

Very hazy dark-ruby red; pink head, some lace. Awful syrupy-cherrysweets nose. Several Belgian super-sweet candies come to mind. Taste is combination of again over-sweet, syrupy childrens’ sweets, and a sourish, acidic taste, which reminds me of citric acid, AFAIK the only organic acid never produced naturally in beer. Lemony, anyway, very citric finish. There is also a cyanic flavour, from the stones, much more convincing. Oily (the stones again? - DO they add some whole cherries?), maintaining a strange balance with the acids. Very much like the draught kriekenlambic. Candy-like, sad.

Bottle: Poured an orange colored beer with a nice huge head. Aroma is simply comprised of a nice peach nectar. Taste is also mostly comprised of peach with a subtle tart finish. This is probably one of the most refreshing beers that I had the chance to taste, sometime it seems more like a cooler/juice then a beer. Nothing is very complex with this beer and the alcohol level is quite low.

Pours a bright ruby, unfilterd red. I can smell it from a few feet away allready and as I bring it closer there is a sweet, heavy cherry and also a distinct woody, oak cask slant that almost takes away from a perfect first impression. Like the rasberry and peach from Lindemans. The only posibly negative here is that the smell is so strong that it suggests artifical flavorings. Its that pronounced. Head was only a momentary soda pop-like fiz and coinsequesntly the lacing was only ever a few mm from the top of the liquid. Taste is more sour than I expected but the sweet cherry comes charging through. Slightly dry trailer, but perfectly balanced with the sweetness. Barley perceptible alcohol content..as it warms a bit, I sense it a bit more. The palette is a nice balance, dry and a bit fizzy. This stuff is the "crack" of beer for me. Too bad it’s so dang expensive. r
