Clean, amber colour with golden highlights, a beige frothy head, average retention and a ring of light foam. Aromas of cereal malts, mild caramel and a bit of funk (farm scent) at first. Then, mineral notes come out, some nuttiness and fresh herbal, grassy hops. The alcohol is quite well-hidden. A smooth, oily mouthfeel with very good dryness in the finish. Some nice malty flavours, not too sweet, just well-blended with some solid hoppiness in the end. Quite a good Strong Mild Ale that is fairly unique with a nice balance of malts and hops, and not overly rich.
