Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal light beige head. Woody oak, feint dark fruits and vanilla, touch of a buttery texture while being thinner-medium bodied, a bit muted. Meh.

Pour at Bar Hop. Lots of aggressive hops right up front. Perfume, a touch of resin, lots of bittering, all over mildly sweet malt with some citrus. The balance feel.off here, but not horrible.

Hazy, light tropical notes. Wet paper, almost flat...medium bitter. Nothing special.

Can from the LCBO. Lightly hazed pale gold with a small rocky lingering white head that leaves spotty lace. VERY floral with citrus and tropical fruit in the background. Light sweet malts with a light + grapefruit and grass bitterness. Mouth is medium smooth with average carbonation. Hard to get past the perfume.

16oz (thx, Josh!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: brown with a tan head. Aroma: coffee, earthy, some sweetness and vanilla. Taste: along the same lines, a bit on the thin side. Finishes slightly dry and roasty with some sweetness. Overall: too plain, but it's ok.

Medium brown with a thin head. Has a huge coffee aroma with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it's got a lot of coffee and vanilla. Decently-balanced, and it has a medium body, with a somewhat light bitterness. Finishes more in the thin/dry realm, at least for a pastry stout.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with minimal off white head. Coffee, vanilla, gentle roast. Simple, lacks complexity, but it's fine for what it is.

Hazy, pale. Thin head. On the nose, it has a light hop fruitiness. It's sweet, with a slightly juicy mandarin character, soft malt base, and lowish bitterness. This is really crushable for an IIPA.

Kind of a murky amber colour. Thin head. Looks like 90s chewiness, like where's my old grunge tapes? It does have a somewhat chewy aroma to it, though there are some brighter orangey notes. Still on the palate some chewy stuff. Not much bright hop. Muddled character. Fairly bitter. But it is messy.
