Description
We are two brothers, Tom and Wim, who have been exploring the possibilities of wildly fermented drinks for many years. In Kortenaken, next to the house of Tom we constructed a small farmhouse brewery and fermentorium. Our main activity consists in the production of wild ales. Being located in Belgium, we're giving a twist to two local traditions: saison/farmhouse ales and lambic/sour ales. We do not aim at historical reproduction, but allow ourselves all freedom in creatively revisiting these styles. We also like to experiment with gruit, i.e. non-hopped beers, in which we use homegrown or foraged herbs and fruits to create culinary surprises. All of our beers are barrel aged. We like to get our hands dirty, diving deep into the raw, material world of grains, hops, yeasts... That's why we never outsource any brewing. Every autumn, we also produce some dry, hard cider, from handpicked apples of old varieties of our own and neighbouring orchards, together with some natural wines from our home vineyard.

Red body, with a medum, off-white head.
Aroma of smooth raspberry, dark berries, some funk. Tastes similar, a bit sweeter and fruitier.
Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, moderate sweet, quite dry, a bit funky, with berries.

Not too most complex Antidoot I've had, but really well balanced instead. Lovely berry notes throughout, with just enough funk.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark red with a small white head. Aroma has a funky berry character—I guess that’s the tayberry—some tangy notes and a hint of raspberries. Flavour is on the dry side, with plenty of red berry, dry funk, some earthiness, and a touch of tang. Not super complex but cohesive enough. A little underwhelming but clean and drinkable.

750mL bottle, pours a clear bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by the gentian root, dry and bitter orange rinds, and some wild yeast. Flavour is complex, with a wonderful wild yeast, spicy gentian root, and orange peel. Complex and wonderfully incorporated of the adjuncts. Excellent.

0,75l bottle at home. Purple cloudy color, small white head. smells raspberries, spices, berry notes, citric, grassy. full body, soft carbonation. tastes raspberries, citric, earthy, spices, herbal, peppery. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of raspberries, citric and peppery notes. Nice one, not the most fruit forward, on the bitter/dry side. Balance is not totally convincing

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Scent is spicy, orange-like fruity, grape character. Bit floral, fresh , nowhere near overwhelming orange, but by lack of better comparable foods, that pops in mind. Very interesting and inviting. Taste is full, tart, mellow and balanced. Fruityness, typical grape character, is defined by a florality, a touch bitter, slight orange like aspect, very wine-like character. Along with the acidity, this feels like a missing link between sparkling wine and beer. Often used in promo talks, but rarely as accurate as here. Easy drinker, nice intensity, unique, .... this beer has it all. One of the better antidoot's!

Bottle shared. A bit yellow to light orange color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are, well, it tastes like fanta lemon to me. Hmm odd. Didn't expect that. Okay, fanta lemon isn't bad but odd as a beer. 7-6-6-6-6

Pours fairly dark brown with a reddish glow. Medium small, relatively low stability soapy head. Scent is OB-like 'fleshyness' , loads of wood, balsamic. Taste is sharp, dry, loads of wood, bit of balsamic (aroma, not acetic acid) , medium acidity (balanced) . Bit of that 'fleshyness' umami like quality. Very typical Oud Bruin beer, made in a very different part of the country than usual. As always with antidoot, great quality. perhaps not the most unique or specific (which is out of the ordinairy for them) but a solid offering for sure

Pours clear pale blonde. Scent is herbal, woody (twigs) with a berry-like undertone. Taste is sharp, acidic - but mild. Dry. Still gettin gthe herbal/twig thing, fruityness less present here. Typical Antidoot refinement, easy drinkability and yet so unique. Again, as is often the case with them, this isn't according to my personal taste / preferences, but there's no denying it's quality. And when you ARE a fan of the ingredients, their beer is skyhigh, which makes me certain some people are bound to love this one.

From bottle at Wild Festival 2025. Pretty bitter with a grainy aroma. Dry with rye (that rhymes). Hint of lemon, raw grain, mild sour, light funk. Rather drinkable.
