Golden-amber colour. Thin head. Bright. Caramel-accented aroma, with some toasty notes. Decent malt complexity, leaning towards the caramel and a somewhat crackery toasted malt note. A bit sweet, but the malt is good,

Dull appearance unbefitting of an IPA. Murky greyish-amber sort of thing. Thin head. Aroma is somewhat tropical, in a pineapple direction, with some coconut. Moderate bitterness, and the underlying malt isn't all that great. The hops are okay - sabro and some fruitier things. But it needs a base.

Dark brown, thin head. Lots of coffee on the nose, some chocolate. On the palate, it's kind of light and fudgey, some cinnamon, but I'm struggling with the point of the pastry on a non-imperial stout. There simply isn't the richness to let the adjuncts shine, it all feels hollow to me.

Tropical, hoppy, lots of citrus and bright fruit. I'm so burnt out on these. Run of the mill hazy IPA you can get on any street corner at this point.

Can from the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a medium light brown head. Aroma is sweet roast, soft coffee, with a bit of cocoa and vanilla. Mouth feel is thin, carb is standard. Finish is lightly roasty, sweet vanilla notes with a soft coffee finish.

Small can from the LCBO. Pours a clear gold, with a tiny white head. Aroma is honey, floral, with some cereal savoury notes. hints of apple, and pear, with wet paper, and a light tartness. This mead isnt sure what its supposed to be.

So I'm assuming this is an attempt at a hopfenweisse. This should be its own style btw..... Hazy orange pour with a small white head. Aroma up front it all malted wheat with some soft pine resin, and that's about all she wrote for hops. Mouth feel is good, carb is standard. Finish is low to medium bitter, lots of pine, hints if citrus rind and citrus pith. Malted wheat is strong, and sticky. Not great.

Clear bronze pour, with a small white head. Light fruity aroma light cereals. Light body, low bitterness, unbelievably boring. Another example of a boring style I don't understand why is still brewed.

Can from the grocery store. Dark brown pour, with an off white head. Aroma is very nutty, soft grassy hops, caramels, and big matiness. Mouth feel is solid, carb is nice. Finish is quite bitter for the style, more cereals, lots of caramel grains and very, very, nutty.

Tap at the craft brasserie and grill.
Hazy yellow, big frothy white head. Thick yeasty wheat, mwith sticky green hops, and pine resin. Subtle clove and banana, with alot of pine. Solid mouth feel and carb. Finish is slightly more bitter than expected, but it is balanced well by the combo of slightly sweet wheat, and yeasty esters and the upfront pine resin hops. Great stuff.
