On tap at Gibsons Tapworks, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out cereal malts and straw. Flavour is clean and crisp, with cereal malt, straw and even a solid hoppiness. Nice blonde.

On tap at Gibsons Tapworks, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a little dry earthy hops. Flavour is similar with robust toasted malt, earthy and a decent hop character. Nicely balanced and fairly robust for the style despite a thin palate. Okay.

Small batch, sampled at the brewery. Golden-amber, thin head. Has a light malt-forward aroma, lightly plasticy, kind of sticky on the palate, touch of plastic. Light body with some toasty. Not quite there.

Small batch. Dark blonde, just a bit hazy. Has a light coriander on the nose. Sweet and sticky, and no real wit character...just sticky. Combined with the appearance I’m thinking wrong yeast maybe? Something, anyway.

Small batch release. Dark amber. Thin head. Bretty nose but with sweeter amber malts. The brett is pretty strong on the palate, but there is still quite a bit of sweetness and biscuity, toasty malts. A fair bit of bitterness, too, which is pretty clashy to me. I hope they try more of this type of beer, but I would definitely consider this one a work in progress.

Gold. Thin head. Has a nice pale malt and a touch of fruity hop. Good balanced brew, if unexciting style

Hazy dull tan colour. Saison yeasty phenols and esters. Only the slightest touch of bubblegum. So it’s ok, not getting much rye

Murky brown, thin head. So strong coffee nose and very strong coffee taste. One dimensional. Nutty coffee, not so much for me.
