Slight haze. Light amber colour. Thin head. Light grapefruit taste, medium bitterness. Decent balanced all round. Quite refreshing.

Draught at the brewery. Dark brown with a thin head. Light cherry and chocolate, but otherwise seems similar to their usual stout, despite having different specs. Ok, but a bit cocoa-y and sweet for me.

Can - Light hops and some apple. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Touch of grain with some green apple notes. Bitter and a bit dry in the finish.

Hazy dullish blonde. Bitter, but bland and honestly one-dimensional. I'm wondering why bother, when they already make a nice example in their regular lineup?

Hazy, light and dull amber. Smells like orange and diacetyl. Tastes like diacetyl. Why would anybody serve this? Fuck off.

This was a 3.0 last time I rated it (June 2018), but this time much better. Dark brown colour. On the nose, light toastiness and some dark sugars. Those sugars are even more prominent on the palate. Rounded body. I like the malt development on this, and the balance, both of which are actually not that easy to achieve with a mild. So I'm digging this.

Draught at Storm Crow, Broadway, Vancouver; 6.2% ABV
Hazy blond colour. Soapy aroma, some coriander, light bubblegum; the flavour is along the same lines, celery, light anise.
North American Saison, cloying.

Hazy pale. Fair bit of peppery spice, mellow pale malts, a bit on the sweet side, some florals. There's phenols but more like cleaners...so not a normal saison phenol character.

Draught @ Tapworks. Medium brown, thin head. Earthy, toasty, has a decent body, moderate bitterness. Nice toasty character, maybe rye?

Bottle from Denman LRS, Vancouver; 6.9% ABV
Blond color, just hazy. In the aroma, a gentle mix of piney and herbaceous hops. The mouthfeel is very dry; the malt base is crisp, lightly crackery; the hopping is balanced, robust bitterness, with dry finish, mild hop resins and a bit more evident herbaceous character.
Clean and dry, nice.
