500ml bottle. Pours dark with cream head. Oak, whiskey, raisins, vanilla, more oak, vinous towards the end, smoke, charcoal finish. Complex with a few layers, and oak in all of them. Definitely very well put together if not exactly my thing.

On tap at Brother’s Beer. Pours hazy orange yellow. Mango, guava, passionfruit, little bread. Good full body. Really pretty bloody good.

On tap at the Lumsden. Pours sickly pale. That sweet chalky strawberry type taste that lychees have, some lemon acidity. Well balanced with good carbonation. Unique, fun, very tasty.

Can. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry. Light malts, clean and mildly sweet. light lager character. Light floral hop with lemony citrus, mild peel. Minerals on the crisp finish. Clean and very drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Tom L. Dark brown to black. Nice chocolate, roast, some coffee, some ashy smokiness. Sweetish with a sourish note, bitterish finish. Nice.

440ml can. Pours pale, clear and with a good head. Lemon, banana, pepper, white chocolate, little creaminess, some sweet dough. Surprising level of alcohol heat given the not gigantic strength. Not bad.
