Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse Bankstown. Crystal clear amber beer with thin white head. Hardly any carbonation. Aroma of malt and sweet lemon. Crisp and refreshing at first, flavour really develops later. Notes of earth and pine, a finish best described as 'sweet wood'. Excellent balance, bitter and sweet. Great easy-drinking ale.

(On tap) Clear yellow golden, small white head. Nice fruity aroma. Light body. Well carbonated. Fruity floral foretaste. Modest biscuity malt. Decent hoppy bitter finish. Nice IPA.

500ml bottle. Pours orange. Peach, apricot, dank, bit sour, very syrupy. Odd. Not bad.

On tap at Panhead Viaduct. Pours red brown. Hazelnuts, caramel, cherry, bitter nutty finish. Perhaps not super in style but nice enough.

Bottle from Hop, Burns & Black. Pours dark brown with a creamy, tan head. Aroma of malt, berries, hints of chocolate. Moderately sweet flavour with brown bread with hits of leather. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Average.

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Black and thick. Bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, wood. Texture is like heavy cream but with a fair chunk of alcohol heat.
