500ml bottle. Pours orange brown with a good head that’s gone pretty quickly. Aroma is super dank, resinous, savoury meat notes, roasted shallots. Flavour goes the same way with some fruit thrown in to. Crazy bitter, crazy dry, only pretty tasty. Think it would go nicely with a big meaty burger or something, but with the delicate cauliflower soup I had for dinner it was all a bit much. Good soup though.

330ml bottle. Lemon, mango, chalky pear. Not much malt character but enough fruity hop notes to carry it. Pretty nice if a little uninspiring.

Bottle. Pours very clear gold despite considerable sediment. White head lasts well. Aroma of dough, coriander, cloves. Gentle but nice. Much more assertive taste with quite strong bitterness. Grainy as well as doughy with oranges and fairly strong spices. Fairly dry at the end. Tasty enough although rather crude.

This was the first beer I ever had in NZ. I drank it outside a cafe in mid-winter, in front of a fire. Mmmm

T42 Bottleshare. Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has good fine minerally carbonation. Airy malts, lightly sweet. Floralness and light hibiscus. Some esters which get bitterish on the dry finish. Not bad.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts with dark toffee and a little dark chocolate. Ripe fruits into hop skunk. Mild spice and pine. A little coffee bitterness underneath. The light semi dry finish brings licorice. Complex and tasty.
