On tap at Mount Arrowsmith, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma reveals some gentle wild yeast, sour red fruits and some rotting notes. Flavour is quite tart, with rotting red fruits and gentle wild yeast. This can't be right - rotting and unpleasantly sour. Poor.

Touch of berry vinegar. Clearish copper with a small white head. Light earthy notes with a touch berry.

On tap in Chemainus of all places. Has a very very faint sweet malt aroma, clear gold body with okay creamy foam on top. Flavour is sweet hoppiness with no malt character in the neighbourhood. Medium on the mouth. No idea what happened to the bitter, can these guys just try to not hop bomb everything they touch?

Smells of soft antique paper that was issued to your secretary in 1967. Has a cloudy bright orange body and almost no white foam on top. Flavour is kind of an awkward mix of orange juice, hops, and light grains. The alcohol is well hidden at least. There's good fullness on the mouth with some crispness. This is mediocre but drinkable.

On tap at the brewery, labelled as 6.6%. Has a very faint hops and grains aroma, I'm even inhaling it, someone send out a search party! Has weak yellowy copper body with just a bit of white foam. Flavour is soft orangey malts with remote hop hints, all rather sweet. Mouthfeel is full enough I surmpose. This is a rather boring and uninspiring IPA.

The aroma is soft fruity grains and nothing else. Has a medium clear copper body and just a little white head. Flavour is very weak sweet grains of no distinction. Mouthfeel is full enough but there's nothing there. This is a very boring attempt at a marzen.

On tap at the tasting room. The aroma is very soft dark grains and nothing else. Has mellow dark brown body with no foam. Flavour is soft lager with vague dark grain hints, vague coffee notes but it's all glued together into oblivion with that lager. Mouthfeel is full enough. There's nothing interesting to remember here, please move along.

Smells of decent sweet barley with some vague coffee. Has a good solid nitro foam and nearly black brown body. Flavour is decent smooth barley with chocolate notes. Mouthfeel is full and sweet. This is a good stout, not unique, but fits the bill well.

The aroma is all nice juicy hops and candied sugar. Has a mellow cloudy yellow body and white foam on top. Flavour is decent sweet hops, very sugary. Mouthfeel is sweet and crisp. This is not bad if you like your pale ales loaded with sugar.

Has an aroma of dried grains, light and simple. There's a bright yellow body with very little white foam. Flavour is soft sweet grains, could be that cream they're talking about. Mouthfeel is full enough with some crispness. It's decent though simple and not really very creamy.
