330ml can at the Fat Cow, Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Poured a mostly clear golden orange colour with little life. The aroma is yeasty, malt, chamomile. The flavour is dry yeasty, with a big dry herbal, earthy mineral palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Black, beige head. aroma has milk choc, roast, coffee and caramel. Sweet flavour, choc, coffee and a little licorice. Bitter and roasted finish.

Bottle at the December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a dark amber color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted notes, coffee roast, coffee booze. Roasted, chocolate.

Black with a tiny beige head. Aroma of coffee, roast, dark chocolate, caramel and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

12oz bottle pours a clear amber brown with some grey head. Chocolate nose, booze, Kahlua, malt. Flavor has the booze and chocolate, like a boozy chocolate you get from a moderately priced holiday box, coffee too. Finishes basically dry.

Lots of coffee in this. Roast and some dark chocolate. Pretty decent balance. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter end. Bottle.

Roast and some milk. Mocha, sharp dark chocolate. I like the way this comes comes together and may very well be my favourite Thai beer yet. Tap at Mitr.

Tap at Dok Kaew House Bar, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour, with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, coffee. The flavour is liquorice bitter, with a roasty, liqouirce, light charcoal, light red berry fruit, liqouirce bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
