Bottle at Cloisters. Pours bright amber with a reasonable head. The nose has an elegant strawberry note. The taste is of cake mixture and dried fruit. The palate is medium bodied and medium textured with a clean but elegant finish. Overall, a good beer.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark brown body and a small, dense, off-white head. Roasted malts tending towards coffee, dried fruits and some hoppy scents on the nose. The flavor has a nice roastyness, some coffee and chocolate hints, dried fruits, some bitterness and a little hint of something sourish. Full-bodied and dry. Long, roasted finish.
