On-tap: Poured a clear brown color Altbier with a medium size off-white foamy head. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some dry cereal notes. Aroma of dry caramelized malt with some cereal notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed Altbier with great drinkability and a smooth finish.

A lightly hazed reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light smoked notes, light Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with ground cherries, lactic smoked character, light mineral notes, light Epsom salts, very nice.

A dark reddish brown ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with grassy hops, treacle, cereals. On tap at Bière Garden Gatineau.

On tap at Harricana, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly harsh, with a lot of abrasive tannins, some nail polish, and mixed bugs. Flavour is more on point but still has a bit of that perfumey, floral character, some mixed bugs, and intense tannins. On the harsh side. Cool blend but this needs some ironing out.

On tap at Harricana, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, some gentle white wine tang, light citrus, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly fruity, with lots of kiwi and other such fruitiness from the hops, backed by a biscuity malt backbone. Low bitterness, moderate fruitiness on the finish. Pleasant.

On tap at Harricana, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lime, some coriander, salt, and a touch of herbal pepper. Flavour is lime-dominated, with a big herbal crunch, moderate salt, and a hint of pepper. A bit too briny and herbal for my tastes, though the lime is nice. Okay.

On tap at Harricana, pours a dirty dark brown with a small beige head. Nose is quite dirty, bringing out a lot of bready English malt, a touch of dry cocoa, and light caramel. Flavour is quite similar, with lots of English caramel malt, toasted bread, and a hint of cocoa. Mouthfeel is dirty, but at least the English malt is well-expressed. I don't get the high ratings for this.

On tap at Harricana, pours a cloudy dark amber with a large beige head. Aroma brings out lots of fresh toasted bread, dry caramel and subdued English hops. Flavour is much along the same lines, with sweet bready malt, dry toasted caramel, and very subdued English hops. Very clean and well-constructed. Creamy mouthfeel that finishes quite malty. Good stuff.

A hazed blonde wit with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light cloves and banana, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light banana esters, curacao, pleasant. On tap at Mapache.
