Poured at 1.3 degrees celcius into a tulip glass. NIce modest head and foggy orange body with opaque copper hints. Soft hop aroma, sweet hops. Flavour is forthright sweet hops with a malt finish. Dry hazelnut notes. Well crafted.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy amber color, hazy, with generous head. It has a too strong grainy character for aroma and flavor; smooth, some caramel flavor; correct bitterness, a bit of resiny hops, and paper trace in the final. Herbaceous.
Decent beer, but a bit of a waste of hops.

Rather boring ale, blonde body, no head, no aroma, vaguely sweet malts. Unmemorable in the extreme unfortunately.

Modest bright brown head and good black body. Roasted barley aroma with no complexity. Flavour is all roasted barley, almost to the point of over-roasting. Watery on the mouth. A miss for a stout, sadly.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a mix of spicy and floral hops, slight light orange rind, and a bready malt. Flavour brings out a very strange mix of notes, with herbal, floral notes, some weird vegetal quality and a bready malt. More like a pale ale, I'm not digging the hops on this one. Very vegetal and herbal, with little oomph. Inoffensive, but not overly pleasant either.

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Golden color. The aroma is very green. Lean body, the malt flavor is a bit crisp, quite nice, with grassy and resiny hops, and ending quite earthy.
It has some British connotation, not just PNW, a bit unexpected, but really nice.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a clear bronze with a medium white head. Aroma brings out leafy and piney hops, balanced by dry biscuity bready malt. Flavour is very fresh and robust, with loads of piney and leafy hops upfront, backed by just enough bready malt. Great balance, with a very potent hop characteristic. Really good.

Thin head on top and a slightly foggy brass body with minimal carbonation. Soft orange on the nose with a hint wit resin. Flavour is heavy on the citrus with a slight wit aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel. Nothing to write home about.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose brings out coriander upfront, followed by wheat and light citrus. Flavour is wonderfully spicy, with Belgian yeast, a little coriander, and some bitter hopping that lends itself nicely here. Quite a bit more punch than your average Belgian wit. Very good.
