Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color, small head. Aroma of plastic and straws. Weak and dry mouthfeel, light wheat and white bread flavor, plastic, a tiny spicy touch, and low bitterness; in the final there is a pinch of fruity esters.
Too simple.

Very pale and cloudy with a big head. Light malty sweetness and a hit of coriander. Tart, with a wheaty sweetish note. Touch of spice. Looks great but nothing jumps out.

On tap at The Whip, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, bringing out light mango and a wheaty backbone. Flavour is super refreshing, with lots of fresh mango over top wheat. A delightful summer thirst quencher. I quite like this.

Murky blond color. Rubber aroma; bready and yeasty flavor, with just a tiny hint of fruits; rather dry. Low or absent bitterness.
Not good.

Muddy blond color with orange hue. Light fruity aroma and flavor, the underlying beer is a bit too simple, but flawless; rather dry.
Easy.

Black color, creamy beige head. Strange beer, a bit ashy, but also some burnt biscuits, light acidity, metallic, cigarette butts… Tastes a bit as if they threw some whiskey soaked chips into the beer while smoking over it.
It’s not as bad as it sounds, but it’s really weird.

On tap. Pours black with moderate head. Aromas of black coffee, shoe polish and dry roasted barley, Flavors carry same with additional notes of ash and plastic. Not getting it.

Draft - Sweet maple syrup, nutty and sweet chocolate. Jet black brown with a decent white head. Vanilla, light syrup and cocoa. Sweet and desert like with a touch of bitterness in the finish.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a small beige head. Nose smells like oats most dominantly - not getting anything else. Flavour reveals more of the barrels, with oak, vanilla and almost a tartness further back. Not very complex, though the base beer isn't much to speak of on its own. Okay.

On tap. Pour amber with moderate head. Aromas of ripe peaches and toasted malts. Sharp flavors of nectarine, light resins and malts. Fruity and refreshing.
