Cloudy, not much head, lupy powder, bit weedy, moderate bitterness, lots of hop.

Draft pour pint at Chainline. Beautiful pour, glowing orange. Orange fruit forward aroma. Finding it hard to differentiate NE pales and NE IPAs. Juicy constant. Creamy, and refreshing beer here. A background of dry, peanut shell grain. Very hidden. Quite a bitter finish. Remains juicy. Cool, creamy, but bitter finish. Good enough for a couple pints, but nothing spectacular.

Draft pour pint at Toronado, Seattle. A clean and clear light golden pour. Hinted plastic, straw grains. Not as much hops on the nose as expected, but in the flavor they show off well. Cool and refreshing. Interesting grain flavor throughout. Very low bitter hop late linger. Refreshing, and fun pils here.

Draft pour pint, at the start of a Seattle crawl a little while back. Toronado. Hazy golden orange pour with a cream foam head. Probably the most interesting of all collabs in recent memory, based on the idea alone, and there are plenty to choose from. A ton of IPA flavor packed into this lager. Very similar to the Georgetown ale version as well, so I suppose they executed it. Cracker grains up front, with a ton of hop character to follow. Some soft fruit notes. Flavorful lager. Splitting batches and lagering half and ale half has been a recent hobby of mine on the homebrew front. Glad to see it professionally done here. Very fun. Tasty beer overall.

Deeper brown pour smal head and lightly carbonated (that could be due to spending week in growler finding its way across country to my belly). Nose is light brown sugar and cola. Tastes of cola, earth, brown sugar, malty, light coconut husk. Smooth. What better way to start 4th of July weekend than with an American polotmavy

Draft pour at Washington Brewers fest. Thick, bright orange pour with a tinted foam head. Fresh strawberry jam like aroma. First sip, they definitely nailed what they were going for. Extremely creamy body. Like a strawberries and cream oatmeal flavor. It’s amazing that someone found a way to make a beer taste this way. It’s delicious. Fun style, unique, flavorful, well executed.

Draft pour at Teku Tavern, Seattle. Total beer nerd seek out here. I thought this stuff was all gone, and got lucky! Wish I was that lucky with other bre searches I’ve had in the past. Fun beer here! Pours a dark, but clean copper color with a cream foam head. A nice, roasted malt aroma to it. Flavor is quite toasty as well. Smooth bready malt constant, with a clean finish. Flavor, easy drinking lager with some real character to it. I really hope Chainline both brings this beer back, and continues to brew these fun styles. As long as they are doing them well, like this one. A solid beer here. UPDATE: new batch! Piured om draft at Chainline to a dimpled mug. Glad this one made it on the redo list. A ton of complex, layered malt flavors going on here. About as flavorful as a lager gets, though this is a style I, like many, don't have a whole lot of experience with. Both bold and sweet at the same time, leaving it with a nice balance. Toasty, nutty, creamy, smooth. Whether they nailed this rare (to me anyway) style or not, they sure brewed a damn good beer either way. Enjoyed this batch more than I did the first

Draft pour pint at Flatstick Pub, Kirkland. Always a blast to try a new Zwickel, though I need to keep bugging my brother who lives in Germany to send me some originals to play the comparison game. Sitting outside in the sun, this beer is very nice. Hazy golden yellow pour that imitates the sunlight out here. Thick, dusty straw notes, very cool and refreshing. Light, but does not lack in flavor. Lingering pils mouthfeel. Solid beer here. I could drink the biggest mug I have of this stuff.
